TK House

TK House is a private residence reconstructed with a steel structural system while preserving the footprint and original form of the existing building. The design combines the light and refined character of steel with natural materials, while responding differently to the contrasting conditions of its surroundings. The façade facing the forest is conceived as a transparent interface, with extensive glazing strengthening the continuity between interior spaces and the landscape. In contrast, the street-facing elevation uses more controlled openings to maintain privacy. The resulting architecture preserves the traces of the existing structure while creating an open, contemporary living environment with a stronger connection to nature.
